Heya, the chaos communication congress is soon aaaand I'd imagine some of yall are gonna be there. What are (y)our plans?

I'm drafting a mail to the team to try and get IPv6 multicast traffic unblocked on the ports relevant to autointerface so we get to mesh within the building. Last year it didn't work. Apparently they disable IPv6 multicast because apple devices like to absolutely hammer the network with that lol

The congress is a perfect opportunity to gather a lot of information about the rns, run experiments and report issues. Where could that live? We could use this forum maybe, idk what the mods would think of perhaps creating a separate category for it so we can open lots of threads without making a mess if that's needed? :)

I'm applying with some friends for a few chairs so we can have a lil reticulum corner.

I'd love to use this opportunity to text LXST, maybe someone who's not a script kiddie like me wants to mess with connecting LXST with DECT?

cheers

I won't be there, but hope yall have a good time! You can probably get the NOC to allow just Reticulum-specific IPv6 multicast if you ask nicely. It's very light-weight and well-behaved :)

LXST bridged to the DECT system would be very cool indeed!

There is a Reticulum Assembly planned already!! Join #40C3 on the rnscommunity RRC hub!

@Mark that's a shame, was hoping to bump into you this year. I remember talking with you under the stairs in the entrance hall on 38C3 on the last day as everything was closing down and I didn't know shit about reticulum back then but my friend got really excited about it cos he went to ur talk :p funny timing that we got to talk before i knew what you were involved in, especially since building community networks and spreading the gospel of reticulum has become my main focus in life right after 38C3
