Are there any ways to verify that an implementation of Reticulum works properly?

Not really, unfortunately. (If it does, I'd be more than happy to get this Information as well)
Personally, I think that this should exist. We won't get it from official sources (read: Mark), though.
The closest thing would likely be a community-blessed test suite or the like. I think any of the established, and also new implementations would benefit from this.

I think a lot of this exists in the clients already. I know meshchatx has several tools. It's prolly just a matter of building out a test suite on them. I have a ton of little scripts myself I've been using to validate interfaces over different networks. I am using them right now to work out IPV6 for my backbone.
