Hi. I suppose one can write anything here, though this isn't exactly a typical discussion forum... but I’m writing this anyway! (Using a translator, lol.)
First of all, I hope you’re doing well. Secondly—and maybe I’m still a bit delusional or foggy-headed—but I get the feeling that some of you are struggling with addiction...?!
Those who are will know exactly what I mean. There’s a difference between recreational use and getting completely consumed by it—where you no longer decide when to use; and of course, every substance comes with its own specific symptoms and issues.
What was I trying to say? Take care of yourselves. I quit, and life is so much better here! I’m so much more at ease—really! Less anxiety, no physical pain... my memory and focus have improved drastically, and a whole host of symptoms are gone. I think it’s worth it—even if you just tough it out for six months or a year to reach that better state, it’s worth it!
That said, I know none of us want that dependency—or to deal with the people who don't understand us, for that matter. But I hope you can handle it; I hope you can resolve that ambivalence and move forward. I hope you have the means and the money, or someone to help you out. I hope you take that step yourself—that you can do it—and please, take care of yourselves. The end.
