I brought up-to-date the Nomadnet part of my micropython-tdeck firmware. Here's a short demo of opening micron page with inline image over LoRa on the t-deck: YT video
The firmware is available through the (M5)Launcher bootloader or as standalone firmware from the project's GitHub repo.
Other than above, the firmware is capable of sending and receiving text and voice lxmf messages and webp/jpeg images; browse Nomadnet (less the forms capability) and has rnsh client.
Oh wow and me who thought nomadnet was impossible of the t-deck - how wrong I was!!! (and glad to have been wrong!) - this is very cool indeed!
I'll reuse this topic since it's about the same firmware.
I've added RRC client to the t-deck firmware. You can join RCC hubs and rooms in them and chat in those rooms. One thing i deliberately omitted is direct messaging within RCC, since we already have a separate LXMF tab for DMs so I thought it would be redundant.
Tested on local RRC hub instance and MeshChatX.
The new release of the firmware can be downlaoded from Launcher hub or from the GH release page

Great firmware so far. Appreciate the RRC addtions. Would it be possible to save destinations from nomadnet?
Dude this is exactly what i've been thinking to start as a project.
Seeing ratspeak for reticulum standalone tdeck and wadamesh for text based web browser made me think it's not impossible to have a standalone tdeck lxmf+nomad browser.
Just today thought about it just to come here and see it's already done.
Very much thank you for doing this. Will start testing it on a tdeck plus asap.

Please report any issues for "Plus", as I only have t-deck v1 and someone else tested and kindly provided the pinout for "Pro". I'd assume "Plus" would have the same pinout as v1, but if it doesn't work, open an issue on github and we'll try to fix it.
Tdeck Plus seems to be the same with v1 yes, it also has gps and sd card in additon. Till now everything is compatible from the little experience i have with the project. Well maybe the battery voltage is not correctly read but i'm not so sure is related to the board/sw itself as the pin is the same. I also observe that most of the apps i run on my tdeck report different voltages.
I have some improvements ideas as well, such as favorite nodes/addresses, time hour offset, disable wifi completely to save some battery etc.
If i have enough spare time on my hands i'll try to make them happen.
I think this project has a lot of potential.
